Our highly trained spindle techs, with over 65 years of industry experience, will disassemble and evaluate your spindle, prepare a written evaluation and advise you of the best type of high speed spindle repair procedures. Your spindle components will be reconditioned or replaced as detailed in your estimate and will be subject to an exacting inspection before the assembly process begins. Your spindle is then re-assembled in one of McBroom's clean rooms and is tested at speeds to simulate your application.
McBroom spindle service division handles all types spindle damage levels - from normal bearing replacement to restoration of damaged shafts. Our spindle service includes disassembly, inspection and evaluation upon arrival at our factory. All spindle parts are examined for proper fits and geometry using the most technologically advanced measuring equipment. All critical dimensions are returned to OEM specifications or better, encoders and feedback devices are evaluated and adjusted. The spindle components are reassembled in an environmentally controlled clean room. Spindle run in is recorded in our Quality Control Test Lab and a vibration spectrum is run with computerized equipment to the tightest tolerances in the industry. The spindle is then carefully packaged in a wooden crate and returned to our customer with all the testing documentation.
