What type of equipment do you repair?
We
offer complete repair and replacement support for AC & DC motors, AC
& DC servo motors, industrial electronic equipment, adjustable speed
drives, spindles, clutch & brake assemblies, gear drives, pumps and many
other types of mechanical equipment.
Do I need any type of paperwork to send equipment
in for repair?
No. All we need to inspect your equipment is a
purchase order number and a short description of the equipment problems you
are experiencing.
Is there a minimum inspection fee?
A
technician will be assigned to examine your equipment to estimate the repair.
Depending upon the equipment and complexity of the repair, you may or may not
be assessed an inspection fee.
Can you send me standard pricing?
Because there are so many types of equipment, repair requirements and
replacement parts, we cannot provide standard pricing for each individual
unit. A cost estimate will be provided to you before we begin any
repair.
What type of warranty do you offer on your
repairs?
Our standard repair warranty is one (1) year from the
date the equipment is put into service.
Will you provide an estimate before you repair my
equipment?
Yes. We will fax or email you a cost estimate of the
required repairs. We will begin the repairs only after you have authorized
the repair.
How soon will my equipment be repaired?
Our lead time for non-emergency repairs is 7-10 working days.
Do you offer emergency service?
Yes. We
respond to our customers' needs 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our 3-shift
and on-call operation allows us to immediately respond to any emergency
situation.
Why should I send equipment to you for repair
rather than returning it to the OEM?
Although lead times vary from
manufacturer to manufacturer, the average lead time is measured in weeks.
McBroom's lead times are measured in days.
